This year's FIFA Confederation Cup held in South Africa. The competition has been rehearsing for next year's World Cup 2010 World Cup, which South Africa. There are 32 teams from around the world compete in the FIFA World Cup 2010 final. FIFA Confederation Cup with 8 teams from the continents of the world. The competition consists of the winners of its continents, recent winners in the FIFA World Cup, and the host country for the next World Cup.

1) South Africa - Host
2) Italy - World Cup champion
3) Brazil - South America Champion
4), Spain - European Champion
5) United States - - North and Central America Champions
6) Egypt - African Championships
7) Iraq - Asian Championship
8) New Zealand - Oceania Champions

These groups were in 2 groups:
Group A: Spain, South Africa, Iraq, and in New Zealand
Group B: Brazil, Italy, USA and Egypt

In the semifinals, the winner of Group A and Group B runners, winners of Group B meet Group A runners-up. 2009 FIFA Confederation Cup in Brazil. United States 3-2 Brazil won the final. It was a thrilling final of the Brazil 2 goals to win the competition. Earlier in the semifinal, Brazil beat South Africa and Spain in the United States lost. Spain is expected to victory in the competition, but ultimately, is the third place, beating South Africa 3-2 in the third play-off place. Brazil is the most successful team in the Confederation Cup competition. In the 3-times champion. This was followed by France, twice the winner of the contest.
